At CES 2025, HP introduced a new lineup of laptops, including the latest EliteBook models, the ZBook Ryzen AI workstation, and the Omen Max 16-inch gaming laptop, featuring a revolutionary reverse fan system to expel dust from vents.
HP Omen Max 16: The Gaming Beast
Inside, the HP Omen Max 16 is equipped with the next-generation Nvidia GeForce RTX graphics card and options for Intel Core Ultra 9 or Ryzen AI 9 HX processors. HP also announced that this is the first laptop to use a "cryo hybrid compound" and a vapor chamber to enhance thermal performance.

Performance and Versatility
The new HP gaming laptop comes with Omen AI software that automatically adjusts system settings and game configurations for optimal performance. It can also instantly pair with the company's HyperX gaming peripherals. The Omen Max 16 has achieved Microsoft Copilot Plus PC certification, reflecting its superior capabilities.
Stunning Design with RGB Flair
Of course, the HP Omen Max 16 also comes with RGB lighting and impressive accessories. It features a light bar on the front of the metal chassis (available in black or white) that can reflect on the desk and be controlled using the Omen Light Studio software. HP's HyperX brand is also launching the Pulsefire Saga Pro gaming mouse, an incredibly versatile modular design that lets you swap buttons and body components to your liking.

Simplified Product Line
HP streamlined its product lineup in May 2024, phasing out the Pavilion and Envy series in favor of the Omni and Elite series for consumer and business devices. Today, the company unveiled the EliteBook Ultra G1i with Qualcomm chips, along with the EliteBook X and X Flip models now featuring Intel G1i processors.
Enhanced Privacy Features
The EliteBook can be used with a privacy screen, making it difficult for those around you to see what you're doing when working in public places.

World's Most Powerful 14-inch Mobile Workstation
Lastly, HP has updated its 14-inch workstation laptop with the new ZBook Ultra 14 G1a. The new model has a slimmer profile and no longer carries the Firefly name. This ZBook is equipped with Ryzen AI Max Pro series chips, designed to handle Solidworks, 3DS Max, and AutoCAD, with up to 96GB of shared graphics memory and up to 128GB of RAM. HP touts it as the "world's most powerful 14-inch mobile workstation."
